Charles Okah, the brother of convicted leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) Henry Okah, who is facing trial in relation to the October 1, 2010 bombing, also known as the Independence Day Bombing, has escaped from Kuje Prison in Abuja.According to Sahara Reporters, an inmate said that Mr Okah, who had been on trial in Abuja for the bombing that killed 27 people, escaped Friday night by scaling the prison wall around 7:30 PM Nigerian time. He was reportedly in the company on another prison inmate. A massive manhunt has commenced to find and rearrest him.
