So on Monday, Laura Ikeji made a post asking girls that wanted to join her fashionista gang to drop their ig handles. A scammer saw it as an opportunity to scam her fans.
The lady opened a new IG handle @lauraikejipage and began to send messages to some of the girls that dropped their handle informing them that they had been accepted and that they would have to pay N4,050 in order to obtain a scratch card. A lot of girls fell for it and paid to a Skye bank account with account name as Ms Precious Oghumu
